Washing - Sizing - Usage - Repair

We are so excited to announce that we were named PHT dealer of the year for the 3rd consecutive year! Thank you for making this possible by trusting us with your PHT needs!

Washing

Picture
Caring for your products is imperative in ensuring they last. You want to wash your products in cold water. Be sure to never use products containing bleach, dyes, fragrances, or fabric softeners. We recommend Tide Free and Gentle as a safe option. Let your products air dry as the dryer will ruin the copper.

Sizing

Picture
It is extremely important that you measure your horse before ordering a blanket. Our blankets are sized differently than winter blankets. Here you will find the simple instructions for measuring. When you get your measurements we recommend your round up. If there is any confusion feel free to message me through the contact form, on the Revelation Ranch FB page or on our instagram.

Example: Your horse measures 75" on one side and 74" on the other then you would order a 76" MagnaCu Blanket.

Wonder Wraps come in heights of 12" or 14". You can use either on the front or hind legs. It is most common that customers find 12" to work best on the fronts and 14" to work best for the hind legs.
Hood Sizing:

Hoods come in Large (fits PHT sizes 74"-80") or XLarge (Fits PHT sizes 82"-86")

Fly masks come in Small Horse or Horse. PHT uses Cashel fly masks for their base. My 14 hand cutters wear the small horse comfortably whereas my 15 hand gelding with a larger head wears the "horse" size comfortable. The general rule is if your horse wears a "small horse" halter or you are in the tightest hole of a regular halter, go with the "small horse" mask.

Usage Tips

Remember that MagnaCu products will yield the most benefits when used on a consistent basis. The products must be left on at a minimum of 30 minutes to benefit the horse.

Do not use these products with any liniments, topical medications, or sweats. If you are using a topical product other than the CuHorse topical line from PHT, be sure to wash the area thoroughly and wait 72 hours before applying MagnaCu products.

We do not recommend MagnaCu blankets for pregnant mares.

With the exception of  Poll Packs, products should not be used during exercise or riding.

Lead Times
PHT is a small company where each item is made to order. Products are made in the USA! With this being said, please note that making each item takes time. Blankets typically take 4-9 weeks depending on the time of year. Accessories can take 2-6 weeks depending on the time of year. The only way to get your items immediately is to order from our " In stock PHT Accessories" section or our "In Stock MagnaCu Blankets" section. Otherwise, please be prepared to wait on your product to be made. I can assure you, these products are well worth the wait!

Repairs

In the case that your product is ripped or damaged ( outside of the 30 day manufacturers defect warranty) we recommend using Jan Bell for repairs. She has repaired a blanket for me that I thought was beyond repair.
